Originally I was planning to use the Creation Cafe as the topic for my photojournalism, however upon meeting with Les and learning it does not have enough scope, I was stuck for ideas and got some ideas off my fellow peers. Sophie suggested an art gallery I had not heard of called Islington Mill, which hosts unknown artists and photographers as well as underground music events. This is a topic that would interest me, and therefore I emailed the marketing and press manager, Jamie and she emailed me back asking to meet her with my intentions and then we can sort something that would benefit both me and her collectively. I am excited to meet her and get this project started, I hope she allows me to photograph her establishment and crack on with my project!
